■Introduction to Membrane Contactor
Membrane contactor (degassing module) is a Henry's Law-based membrane separation device that removes dissolved gases (CO₂, O₂, ammonia nitrogen, etc.) from liquids. Hydrophobic hollow fiber membrane micropores allow gas passage but block water. Driven by vacuum/pressure difference, dissolved gases migrate through the membrane and are carried away, achieving efficient degassing. The hollow fiber structure maximizes gas-liquid contact area for high removal efficiency.

◎ Special Membrane Filament Arrangement
The membrane contactor adopts hydrophobic hollow fiber membrane filaments made of polymer polymer materials, which are woven into an array using a special process and rolled and wound around the central water distribution pipe.

◎Efficient Structural Design
The structural design of central pipe water distribution + guide baffle deflects the flow direction of shell-side liquid, scouring the membrane filaments from the vertical direction (instead of the traditional liquid flow direction parallel to the membrane filaments), resulting in better gas-liquid mass transfer efficiency.

◎High Removal Efficiency
Dissolved oxygen in water can be removed to below 1ppb , carbon dioxide to below 1ppm , and ammonia nitrogen to below 1ppm .
◎Long Service Life
The unique membrane filament arrangement greatly improves the resistance to fluid impact, largely eliminating the phenomenon of filament breakage; at the same time, it can maintain a fixed distance between membrane filaments without being squeezed together, so that the surface hydrophobic treatment becomes easy and complete, thus maintaining a long hydrophobic life.

■Typical Application Fields of Membrane Contactor
◎ Semiconductor Ultrapure Water
In the semiconductor field, membrane contactors are mainly used in semiconductor and thin film flat panel industries. This is because high oxygen content leads to low yield. Using membrane contactors can improve product production quality and increase product production efficiency. In the microelectronics field, membrane contactors can meet the dissolved oxygen index of <1ppb , and provide performance guarantee.

◎Boiler Feed Water
Using membrane contactors to replace the large amount of amines added for oxygen removal in boiler feed water, which brings negative impacts to the environment, has successfully prevented the corrosion of pipelines by dissolved oxygen. The membrane contactor is installed in front of the boiler to remove carbon dioxide and oxygen from the boiler inlet water, thus preventing corrosion of pipelines by carbon dioxide and oxygen.

◎ Oilfield Reinjection Water
Oilfield reinjection water refers to the treated water that is reinjected into the oil reservoir to supplement and maintain reservoir pressure, thereby improving oil recovery efficiency. Oilfield reinjection water has certain requirements for oxygen content, mainly to prevent corrosion and scaling problems caused by dissolved oxygen, as well as to protect the oil reservoir and improve recovery efficiency.
Ground water sources often dissolve a certain amount of oxygen when in contact with air. Some water sources also contain carbonic acid gas and hydrogen sulfide gas, which are corrosive to metals and concrete. Therefore, before injection, dissolved oxygen, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and other gases in the injected water should be removed.
